A Compilation of Literacy Designs for Young Readers

Welcome to Ms. Laws' page of literacy lesson designs! As an aspiring teacher, it is my goal that I empower my students to ask insightful questions, explore disciplinary boundaries, and confront conventional ways of thinking. These designs I have provided are meant to help children develop from beginning readers to fluent readers. With instruction based on the science of reading and spelling with the alphabetic code, it is my vision that children will be reading independently with understanding and enjoyment.
